Lenovo Yoga series has a range of laptop and tablet computer that is well known for its capability to rotate its screen from 180 to 360 degrees; furthermore, it is also bit expensive than Ideapad series. In contrast, Ideapad series is Lenovo’s standard and much affordable laptop. Currently, it also offers some models that can be converted into PC tablet.

Meanwhile, there are lot of topics and specification comparison of Lenovo Yoga series and Lenovo Ideapad series but we cannot really tell much difference about it. I hope this blog will help you decide on which laptop to buy.

Lenovo Yoga 530 and IdeaPad C340 Specification

I have purchased Lenovo Yoga 530 i3 with Ideapad C340 PC tablet laptops. To clarify, it is not right to compare Yoga 530 i3 with Ideapad C340 i5 since they have different specification because it will have a bias result. Therefore, let’s just compare the built since I was not able to find these information when I had purchased my Yoga 530 i3 and Ideapad C340 i5.

Most importantly, both Yoga 530 and IdeaPad C340 14 inches laptop do not have sata cable to add additional disks. There is only 1 DDR4 memory card slot.

  • If you are an artist or graphic designer and have a little budget, then LED should at least IPS Full HD for better view and color.
  • Lenovo C340’s Dolby speaker is great for movie and music lovers while, Yoga 530 is perfect for user who wants louder sound.
  • Both Yoga and Ideapad 2 in 1 tablet are responsive.
  • Drawing experience is impressive and responsive however, I would prefer to use active pen 2 as it has longer tip. Furthermore, Active pen 2 is fully working as well in Lenovo Yoga and purchase separately.
  • Upgrading or adding additional sata storage is not an option for 14 inches laptop version. However, you may need to choose 15 inches laptop instead since it has more room for upgrade.
  • These laptop are absolutely perfect for students and graphic designer.
  • If you want fast charger go to Lenovo 530. You can purchase fast charger for Lenovo C340 at additional cost.
